Which Carpet Cleaners Can You Trust?

Dealing with carpet cleaners is no different than dealing with anyone else in any other service related business or profession. The more you have, the more probability of deception. It's just human nature.
Everyone has their own brand, their own unique method, and a particular way to deliver the end product, be it good or bad.
I'm not suggesting that all cleaners of carpet are deceitful, but how do you, as a consumer, know when you're getting the best?

You can search carpet cleaners for answers endlessly on the internet and still be confused about what's the best. I know...I have done the research myself. As an insider in the industry, I can only chuckle when I read most of the rhetoric spewing forth amongst the "experts".

It's as though many of the "experts" just copy the same articles and reproduce them to make themselves look knowledgeable. Honestly, I really have laughed many times when researching carpet cleaning. They even have schools now that companies send their applicants to in order to get certified to become "technicians". It's a step in the right direction I guess, but what's a diploma in the hands of someone that's just looking for a job and really could care less about the quality of work they perform? This just covers the company.

I have been cleaning carpet for over 32 years and have gained so many valuable lessons from you, the consumer. Most of my business now comes from repeat customers and referrals, but in the beginning of my career I would hear story after story describing negative experiences with carpet cleaners. Occasionally, I would hear something positive, but it was rare.
I couldn't help but to wonder if I was a part of an elite group that actually cared about customer service and quality?

Wet or Dry?

Ahhh...it's become a controversial subject and recently the steamers have gained ground on this matter. In my opinion, the reason for this is because of all the new and improved (not!) methods of dry, plus the inferior products that are out there for a less experienced contractor.

I have an advantage. I know what works. It's the same thing I've done for 32 years, but if someone wanted to start a dry carpet cleaning business on their own, he/she would be taken down the wrong path as far as products go, because of what's available and suggested for them to use. I have sampled many of the products available and I think there must be a conspiracy that the steamers are behind, lol.

Did that make sense? I have mixed my own cleaning solution since day one (11,680 days and counting), I still have to do this simply because I am amazed at the products supply companies recommend for carpet dry cleaning.

Sorry, I can't reveal my secret. I just know it works. I won't bore you with details about the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of certain chemicals, solvents, powders, foams, or carbonated water. You can research the net yourself and at best, still wind up taking a shot in the dark when choosing a carpet cleaning company.

Most dry cleaning methods are just not good. But on the other hand, most steam cleaning operators aren't either.

The question you must ask is, if you had the very best of both worlds, the best steam cleaner and the best dry cleaner and they both cleaned your carpet great...wouldn't you rather have your carpet to be dry a lot quicker and ready to use? Silencing the noise between carpet cleaners is the hardest part. Every single company will tell you they are the best, and they should believe in what they do.
But, there are many benefits to having your carpet dry cleaned as opposed to steam or over-wetting, if it is done correctly. If it's not dry cleaned the right way then it really doesn't matter which method you choose. Both have their drawbacks.

The bottom line on who's or what's the best? My take is this: whoever cares. Not who cares, but whoever cares. If you can get someone that's concerned about you and your carpet, they will do as great a job as their method will allow. It will show in their performance, promptness, and honesty. Most of all, it will show on your carpet. Unfortunately, that's hard for you to determine when you're looking at a coupon or a website. Sometimes you can get a "feel" by calling the carpet cleaners and asking a few questions.
How did they make you feel? If good, hire them. If bad, move on. Next!

We are among the carpet cleaners that are the good guys and I'll put our system up against any. I believe it's the best. Give us a chance and we'll prove it to you, too. If you have any questions, please contact us We'll be happy to serve you.
